Whitewater Guide* (Trainee - no prior experience required)

*First year guides are required to attend a 5-day rafting clinic at a cost of $275. On river training, including Swiftwater rescue, will continue on the Arkansas (unpaid) until ready to guide commercially (usually 1-3 weeks). Income potential depends on the number of trips you guide. Since training will continue into June, you will need to cover your expenses until you begin to guide. Full-time first year guides may make $1,000 plus tips during the summer. Returning guides will make more based on their experience and job responsibilities.
