Our name comes from the biblical passage in 2 Timothy 2:21. It reflects the owner's passion for Jesus Christ and a desire to glorify God in all we do. Our staff is selected partially based on how well they can support our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Hospitality, and Winsomeness.
We are headquartered in Colorado at Texas Creek, located between Canon City and Salida on Highway 50. We offer whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River through Bighorn Sheep Canyon and the Royal Gorge.
Each season we hire full time as well as weekend and on-call staff. If you love the outdoors, enjoy people, and are looking for adventure, then I look forward to talking with you about a summer position.

The selection process occurs as follows:
- Fill out an application and mail it to Vessels For Honor.
- VFH will evaluate each applicant based on qualifications and alignment with company values.
- VFH will contact you to set up an interview.
- Job offers will be made to the best applicants. (Usually by the end of March)
- If you apply for a river guide position with no prior experience, you will be required to attend our 6-day rafting clinic, and then complete 2-3 weeks of additional training in June.
- Experienced guides may be asked to participate in an on-river interview before a formal offer is made. All river experience should be documented and included with the application.
- Upon accepting the job offer, VFH will discuss starting dates and other details regarding the season.
