Whitewater Rafting Adventures
What Trip Should We Take?

Short and Sweet
If you are in a hurry and want to get on and off the river first thing in the morning, then the 1/4 Day Texas Creek Sampler may suit your needs. This trip starts from our site and continues 5 miles down river. There are 4 rapids on this section that will provide a taste of the Arkansas River at an affordable price. This trip starts at 8:00 a.m.

Family Classic
The 1/2 Day (9 mile) trip is the standard tour through Bighorn Sheep Canyon. We meet at Texas Creek and drive 5 miles downstream to the put in. With over 5 rapids, this section creates a great family trip. We usually spend between 1 1/2  to  2 1/2  hours on the river depending on water levels. This trip starts at 9:00 a.m.

Premium Family Classic
The 3/4 day Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip combines the best of both tours. This popular trip launches from our site and continues for 14 miles. Because of the distance, most whitewater rafting outfitters only offer this as a full day trip. However, we decided to offer it in a half-day format. We put on the river first thing in the morning and we usually get back to Texas Creek by 12:30 p.m. This trip is wonderful for people wanting to spend more time on the river and still be back by lunch. This trip starts at 8:00 a.m.

Extended Family Fun
Our Full day trip through Bighorn Sheep Canyon moves at a more relaxed pace. We meet a little later in the morning and spend the whole day on the river. In addition to the river-side lunch that is provided, we typically have the time to stop and look at things, swim, play games, etc. This is a great trip for small groups and families alike. This trip starts at 9:00 a.m.

Spectacular Adventure
If you have been rafting before and are looking for something a little more challenging, consider the 1/2 day or full day Royal Gorge. We think this is the best whitewater rafting trip on the Arkansas River! The full day version is a very long trip and is better suited for those who might consider themselves "river-rats". The half-day trip spends approximately 2 hours on the river. Space on these trips is limited, so we strongly recommend that you make advance reservations. The half day trip starts at 1:00 p.m. and the full day trip starts at 9:00 a.m.

Overnighters
Participate in one of our overnight trips for an incredible whitewater experience that will give you time to strengthen relationships and develop a deeper appreciation for the river. The first day of the overnight trips starts at 1:00 p.m.

Adrenaline Addicts Only
For our Wildest Adventure we place you in a small 9-foot raft and run through your choice of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon or the Royal Gorge. Warning: You could get wet and will probably take a swim! This trip starts at 1:00 p.m.

Hard Core Instruction
If you are hard core and you want to learn how to guide, consider our 6-day Rafting Clinic. This includes 2 days of paddle technique, 2 days of oar technique, and 2 days of whitewater rescue training.
